Well the funeral business must be quiet if you have time to watch so many films. I saw How Green Was My Valley (amazing film) does that count? Never heard of the Coalminer.

    It was a joke...

  • Well the title says it all really-

Paperwork and phone calls all day long:o As well as fitting in pupils in between, has been a total day for juggling in all honesty.

Anyway think i am on the home stretch now with it all and i did have a lengthy call with HR which has saved me a lot of form filling in - so one blessing in disguise there.:o

Onto budget-well not brilliant this month, i have totalled up the shopping and we are currently over that by £10.

I have paid a lot out in getting things fixed, Mot'd and taxed- so that has sorted out the little cushion of savings i had..:o But the positive is that i had the money to pay for it and it wasn't on credit.

HR- once again managed to keep me on the wrong tax code, despite form filling in two months ago( it is no longer my second job) so that has been chased up. I am also owed my pension contributions- so i have potentially got another saving pot and can't get my mits on it as HRMC have it:o:o:o b*stamps foot* churlishly..but at least it is there and i can't touch it..the saga does continue.

Other than that- Mr.B has managed to keep to his word- so the overdraft is once more coming down and he has avoided the patio for another month:D Saves the cement though;)

For SW- no i don't run the !!!!!! but the GG are nearly as bad :rotfl:

Off to update totals and whatnot.

lots of positive stuff in there BOB
  • It is getting there Taxi, i am on the home run with personal debt just need to get the joint stuff gone :) It always seems to linger on though- so i need to make bigger cut backs, but i am damned if i know where.
The only thing i can cut is Sky which is £20 a month, i also thought of switching telephone as well- saving £10. But that is about it- given that petrol has gone up again. :(

The other bit of good news is that the washing machine has been written off and i am getting a new one. I was onto customer service yesterday and they should be ringing back today to give me a time line. I have sent off a letter stating i am not happy with the way things have laxed and resent the cost of the phone calls chasing up customer service. I would hope that they hurry up and get it sorted as i hate wasting good washing weather!
