Hi
I've had a look and i can't see a forum for x boxy type stuff
my husband has the gold membership thing, he's just logged on tonight and he had a message saying it was due for renewal in feb and that he could do it now for £69.99. He says he's sure it was only £30 odd last year, has it gone up this much? is he wrong about the price last year? or are they just trying it on?

Worth getting, if you pay buy card though there online service it's 5pounds a months which equals to 60pounds a year compared to 35pounds which this is giving you so its worth buying.]
so it seems it may be more (like double!) to pay through x box online! how naughty!!0 -
A 12 month subscription is available for £31.99 from here.
Once you've paid, they e-mail the code to you, usually within 10 minutes. This is the normal method for many Ebay resellers too.
The site I've mentioned is safe. I and many others have used it frequently. They also have a Facebook page where the regularly give away Xbox Live Points / PSN points.Dave. :wave:0 -
Tia, your husband received a message advertising the 'Family 4 person-subscription' package for £69.99. It's a typical ploy by Mickysoft to rope people who may not be paying attention, into buying it.
As he is on the normal 12-Month subscription, that is what they really SHOULD be telling him to renew. Does he have his card details stored on the xbox/website? If so, they will automatically renew his 12-Month subscription without him having to do anything...0 -
Hw redid my sons last week but set him up a new account and name as he wasnt able to play any of his EA games on live (even age 3 one) as he is under 13. Did it via the console and got a 20% discount only paid £24 for a years gold membership. Then phoned and cancelled his auto renewal on his old account. Not sure if the offer is still on but worth a look next time you are online.0

The family pack £69.99 option gives FOUR 12 month gold memberships.
i.e. you have a house with the adult/3 kids it works out much cheaper.
Otherwise it's usually £35 retail for a SINGLE 12 month gold membership, use hotukdeals.com to find a better deal (can usually get down to £28 ish)0 -
