Morrisons - One touch Can Opener

Hi

I hope this has not already been posted, I did try to check !! I went to Morrisons to try to get a Roasting Rack, that someone had mentioned on the Grabbit thread. I had no luck but saw that they had Culinare one touch can openers for £4.98 :j They should have been £17.50 and were then reduced to £12.50. I have had my eyes on these for ages but was not prepared to pay that much for a can opener !!

Hope this helps someone,
Bek x

That is a very good price for these. Both my mum and I had one of these each and both of ours have broken after a very short time. They work one minute and then the next they just stop working and you cannot get them to work again, they do have a reset button but this does not seem to work. We may have just been unlucky but we did not get them together, one was a present from a friend and the other was purchased by myself. I hope you have better luck than we did as if they do work they are fantastic!
  • We have the Culinaire and got it 'half price' for a tenner from Sainsburys ages ago. One of the very best 'gadgets' we have ever bought. It's worked faultlessly sine we got it. £4.98 is a fantastic price!!

My Culinaire can opener is still working after 18 months. For one awful moment I thought it had broken but then I discovered that it has a safety feature which means it won't work unless it's on a can - changed the batteries and everything before I worked it out LOL

It seems that Culinare do a few can openers. The automatic ones retail for about £20 and the manual ones retail for about £8.

Is the Morrisons one on offer automatic?

Yes it is the automatic one, it takes 2 AA batteries. Whatever I have for dinner tonight will have to include a can of something as I am itching to try it out !!
