Buy a TV get Sky+ free or £150 off Sky HD

Sky have an offer on now until Dec 24 - if you buy a TV over £169 they will give you Sky+ for free (normally £99) you pay installation. Or you can save £150 on a Sky HD box. Offer open to new and existing customers. Seems to operate through certain retailers - Sony Centres and Currys are the two I have seen so far. I think it operates as a money back scheme.
Anyone tried this so far?

Just brought a 32" Sammy off the website, so thought I would try my luck.

Went to the local Curry's and spoke to CS who said the offer was for "in-store" purchases only. Spoke to a manager who said they Sky didn't know the difference so should be OK.

Firstly she looked at my receipt and said "how did you get all that discount off, are you an employee" Quickly said that it was an online promotional code for 10% off plus I got a discount code from HO. Phew

Went through process, pay £30 in-store and the remainder off the credit card by Sky. She initially said I would have to pay £60 for installation, which I replied "what for I already have Sky" she said that if I take out multi-room it would be free, to which I pointed out that I already have it so would be unhappy for them to charge me instillation just to swap boxes. Anyway didn't have to pay this so got the new HD package for £150 and being installed this week, only prob they do not do weekends.

Further info on this offer - told by Currys salesman that offer available to online and shop purchases - Sky are only looking for a TV receipt from Currys.

Also told in Sony Shop that Sony are doing a promotion - if you buy a Sony TV you get the £150 off a Sky HD box from Sky and £150 refunded by Sony. Therefore the HD box is free! Have not seen any documentation to substantiate this offer yet.

Intend to try and price match a TV in Currys with Currys internet price. Then I can get the Sky bit set up there and then.
