Solicitors Fees

Hi
I am wondering if anyone can offer any advise my partner and i have had our mortgage application agreed and now we have to fill out all the paper work and have now got to start procedings with the solicitor (we are transfering equity). the problem is we dont have any savings to pay for the legal work. I have been to my bank today to try and get an overdraft but was declined for this, so that was that idea out.
Does anyone have any other ideas of how we can proceed with this?, Im going to see if my parents can help by lending me some cash. But any other advise would be gratefully recieved.

If I recall correctly the solicitor will pay themselves out of your equity money so bear that in mind. The last one I used sent us the left over money after she'd paid herself a generous sum (serves us right for using my sister-in-law's friend without getting a quotation!)
Can you sign up for a 0% credit card to pay other bills? You can also ask for mortgage fees to be added to your loan but obviously you will pay loads in interest over the course of the loan.

i think ill call the solicitors on Monday to see if they will do this on ours ive read the info from them with the quotes for everything needed and dont recall seeing this but ill ask, if they cant i can always use the solicitor recomended by the broker if they will do it this way. They wasnt anymore expensive but just thought it would be easier to use a local one.
