Hi
can i return an unwanted gift to boots without a reciept? Its def from boots, and it has a 3for2 gift sticker on it. I know they don't have to legally, but does any one have experience of them doing this or not?
thanks

I don't know for sure (obviously!) but would think with a 3 for 2 offer it would be highly unlikley. It may have been 'free' in the first place0

I returned an unwanted gift last week and was offered an exchange of items to it's current value without any problem.
With no receipt you'll only get items to the value of the sale price if it's been reduced

I would try but perhaps seek out one of the friendlier SA in store. I know my local branch had a couple of dragons who hate to help customers but several other lovely assistants who always try to bend rules and help any customers.Rare Disease Day28 February 2013 is Rare Disease Day.Raise awareness for patients, families and carers whose lives are affected by rare diseases worldwideUnited we are stronger0

They will only offer an exchange to the value of the item and the item has to still scan on their system so if it is a discontnued product then you can't exchange. I took back a present which was i their catalogue, without receipt and they said that it was discontinued so I couldn't exchange although it clearly showed it in the christmas catalogue.
Good luckComping wishlist for 2017

Hi thanks for replies, i'd be happy with an exchange for something of the same value so i'll give it a go (and i'll check out all the sa's to see which looks the nicest!):D0
