Daughter craving chocolate nibbles

Options
Could anyone help at all with a recipe for chocolate nibbles? My daughter forgot to go to the market sweet shop when she was in town and didn't get her fave, chocolate nibbles. Here they are for if you don't know what I'm talking about.

Or maybe something biscuity or cakey that would be of a similar flavour.

Thanks.

Strepsy: Can't help with the nibbles thing.. BUT.. if you look here you'll find a recipe for Queenie's everyday biscuits.. i made them with 2 oz of cocoa powder and 2 oz chopped nuts, they made cookies very like (in texture) the giant american ones you can buy in Asda/Tescos. if you want the toffee flavour you could try substituting dark brown sugar for the caster sugar.

the batch i made was absolutely gorgeous, but do be aware that they come out of the oven soft and they need to be left on the baking tray for a few minutes at least to become hard (and believe me, that's the hardest part)..

good luck - let us know how you got on!

Oooh, those sound really lovely. We'll have a go at those next time as we've just made stained glass biccies.

    Thanks.

I make truffley things with crushed bourbons, digestives, any old/add biccys you have in bash them all up and stir in a glug of melted butter and melted chocolate, but to liken them to yours you could add some chopped toffee/shattered toffee if you've got hard ones, leave to set in a tray or make into balls and roll in cocoa, HTH.xxx
