The Lemsip Snowflake Challenge aims to have 15,000 snowflakes in the snowglobe.

Each time a user “likes” the Lemsip Facebook page and enters the competition by picking their choice of Grand Prize, a snowflake is added to the snowglobe.

When the Lemsip Snowflake Challenge reaches this target, all 15,000 users who have entered a snowflake into the snowglobe will receive a free month’s subscription to LoveFilm and 4 lucky users will win their choice of a years cleaning services, £1,500 cash, a luxury spa weekend for two or an Apple Mac computer.

They need 15,000 snowflakes for the draw to take place, so have guessed end date

update 30/1 as still over 12,000 off the total have changed end date.

1. The competition and prize draw is open to residents of the UK, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man; aged 18 years and older except employees of Reckitt Benckiser Healthcare (UK) Limited (the “Promoter”) and its affiliated companies, their families or agencies or anyone connected with the promotion (“excluded players”) . For the avoidance of doubt, excluded players may “like” the Lemsip Facebook page and accept the Lemsip Snowflake Challenge application for recreation.

2. There is no purchase necessary to enter this prize draw or competition.

3. The competition opens on 10th January 2010 and closes immediately once there are 15,000 snowflakes in the snowglobe.

4. The Promoter reserves the right to terminate access to the Lemsip Snowflake Challenge application without notice if any player is found to contravene these terms and conditions

5. How to enter:
a) Users who have previously “liked” the Lemsip Facebook page must:
- Click on the snowflake representing their choice of Grand Prize.
- Fill in their name, email address and select which Grand Prize they’d like to win.
b) Users who have not previously “liked” the Lemsip Facebook page must:
- “Like” the Lemsip Facebook page; and
- Click on the snowflake representing their choice of Grand Prize.
- Fill in their name, email address and select which Grand Prize they’d like to win.

For the avoidance of doubt a snowflake will only be entered into the snowglobe if the user has “liked” the Lemsip Facebook page, clicked on the snowflake representing their choice of Grand Prize and filled in the required contact details.

6. Only one entry per person. No entries will be accepted from agents, third parties, organized groups or entries generated automatically by a computer.

7. The Prizes
a) The LoveFilm Prizes
When the Lemsip Snowflake Challenge reaches 15,000 snowflakes in the snowglobe, each of the 15,000 users that entered a snowflake into the snowglobe will receive a prize of one month free subscription to LoveFilm (“LoveFilm Prizes”).

LoveFilm Prize winners will be contacted via email with instructions of how to redeem their LoveFilm Prize.

b) The Grand Prizes
The options for the Grand Prizes are:
i) The services of a cleaner for a year (up to the value of £1,500)The Promoter will arrange the cleaning services on knowledge of the address if this Grand Prize winner.
ii) £1,500 cash
iii) a luxury spa break up to the value of £1500. The Promoter will arrange the luxury spa break on knowledge of the address of the Grand Prize winner.
iv) an Apple MacBook Pro 13-inch: 2.66 GHZ Computer.

Users will be grouped using Facebook silos according to the Grand Prize draw that they select to enter (“Prize Silos”).

Once the Lemsip Snowflake Challenge has 15,000 snowflakes in the snowglobe, the Promoter will randomly select one user from each Prize Silo to win the Grand Prize for that Prize Silo.

Grand Prize winners will be contacted via email with instructions of how to redeem their Grand Prize. By entering this competition, users automatically consent to the Promoter publishing their names and locations on the Lemsip Facebook page if they are a winner of a Grand Prize.

For avoidance of doubt, the LoveFilm Prizes and the Grand Prizes will not be allocated unless and until the Lemsip Snowflake Challenge has 15,000 snowflakes in the snowglobe.

8. No cash alternative will be offered in lieu of LoveFilm Prizes or the Grand Prizes.

9. Grand Prize winners may be required to participate in publicity.

10. The Promoter will not be held responsible for any for late or lost entries.

11. The Promoter reserves the right to terminate, amend or extend this promotion in wholly exceptional circumstances outside its control.

12. When the Lemsip Snowflake Challenge gets 15,000 snowflakes in the snowglobe the competition will close. The Grand Prize winners will be selected at random within 7 days and will be contacted within an additional 7 days of this date. In the event that a selected Grand Prize winner does not initially respond to contact made by the Promoter, the Promoter shall make a further attempt to contact such winner(s). If a selected Grand Prize winner does not respond to contact made by the Promoter within 30 days of competition closing date that person’s claim to that Grand Prize will be forfeited and another substitute winner will be selected.

13. The Producer's decision is final in every situation including any not covered above and no correspondence will be entered into.

14. By entering this competition, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the rules and consent to the use by the Promoter of the information contained in the entry for whatever means the Promoter deems appropriate (including without limitation use in and for future promotional activities).

13. For a list of the Grand Prize winners’ names and counties please send a stamped addressed envelope to Lemsip Snowflake Challenge, C/o SocialFuel, 35 Britannia Row, London, N1 8QH, UK.

14. These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

15. This promotion is no way sponsored, endorsed or administrated by, or associated with, Facebook. By entering into this competition entrants understand that they are providing their information to the Promoter and not to Facebook. The information entrants provide will only be used for the purposes of this Lemsip Snowflake Challenge.

16. The information provided in this draw will be used by the Promoter for the purposes of administering this draw information and will not be provided to a third party without your consent.

They only have 365 snowglobes and state 14,365 to go, so I'm thinking it will be quite a while after January, I'll shove this in my daily list and keep an eye on it so it doesn't get game overed too early xxx

It only opened yesterday so hoping it picks up, especially with it being here but happy to go with another suggestion on end date

Maybe just check it daily and when it gets closer to end of Jan u can make a decision on roughly how long u think there will be left xxx Thanks for finding a fab comp xx
