Hi all,
I used a certificate of posting for a freepost address. Can I claim compensation from Royal Mail if the letter is not delivered to the freepost address ? If I can, I presume that I have to wait 15 working days before I can start the claim ?
Any advise would be appreciated.

You need to look at the terms and conditions of 'certificate of posting'
Was there something of value in there.
I know you can claim a certain amount for a recorded or special delivery not delivered but not too sure about COPmake the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
I have contacted Royal Mail, who have confirmed in writing that anyone can claim certificate of posting compensation from Royal Mail for any freepost address.0

I'm afraid Royal Mail no longer offer compensation on freepost.
I sent an old mobile phone to one of the many websites that offer money for these but it was 'lost'
As I had successfully applied for, and got, compensation for a lost satnav a few years earlier (this was sent to Royal Mail's own tech-recycling firm SimplyDrop), I applied again but was turned down under the new rules as above
This was in May 20130
