Pentax Optio 43WR £100

Following on from rizla01`s amazing Pany find, the same company are also doing this Pentax at a silly price.
I don`t think it`s on their website yet, but you can ring them. They`re working late!

    Hiyah,

Much as I'd love to take the credit for the Panasonic find, I'm afraid that Honour goes to CONDYK.

I simply went and bought one after Condyks recommendations and vast knowledge of the subject. I then chatted to a chap called Dennis at Photo-optix (who lives about 4 Miles from me) and discovered the Pentax.

It's a waterproof Camera that can be immersed in water but cannot be used underwater?? (Duh) Fuller details are here.----Pentax Optio Details

    :)

    Regards,

    Riz

    Here's a review

    http://www.steves-digicams.com/2004_reviews/optio43wr_pg5.html

with a link to Amazon.com who apparently have it (and maybe a review or two there) - though the site appears to be down at the moment
  • just to let everyone know its the

Pentax 33WR not the 43WR that is £100

only difference is that 33WR is 3megapixels
and you guessed it 43WR is 4megapixels

still a great find though ;)
  • Stick the 33wr in pricerunner and it isn't really a bargain, seemed too good to be true and I've just put 2 friends on to it!
