Advice for selling jewellery
freeby2011
Hi there
I want to make get some money quickly and was thinking of getting rid of some jewellery which contains diamonds, each piece cost over £300 but valued at more. What is the best way for me to sell these or make money from them?
Thanks!

Try a reputable jeweller who buys this type of jewellery or eBay (but be very wary of dishonest bidders who will try to defraud you). However, it is extremely doubtful you'd get anything near the current "value" as this is probably the replacement cost, or what they would retail at.
If they are antique or collectable you could try reputable specialist auction house (who will charge commission). If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0
