    Hi

Glad that it went well. When an IVA is suggested I would say its always worth getting advice from at least 2 IPs and to make sure at least one of them is one of the charities listed here IMPORTANT - Where to seek professional impartial advice about your debts.
Also I would have a read of Martin's IVA guide - IVAs are they worth it?:

I have to say that my initial thought is that £268 on an IVA is looking at around £16k after 5years (before fees are deducted etc), which does seem a fairly low figure compared to your debt level which you said was over £50k. That doesn't mean its not the right option for you or that your creditors won't accept it, its just worth getting advice from other places as well.

Good luck with what you decide and it will be great if you can get things sorted soon -but don't rush into an IVA as they are legally binding and you do have to declare it for the rest of your life like any other form of insolvency, just take a bit of time to read about them first so you can be sure its the best option for you.

    Good luck.

Thats odd Nicholas but my figure for housekeeping from CCCS for a single person is £120. That figure was generated by the CCCS debt remedy and not by me.

I just hope the op sticks with the free services rather than opting for a paid service.

Good luck and Littlefaster and you won't regret using Payplan or CCCS

Guys hey I was trying to help, the OP asked a question and I wanted to help, you can see from my previous posts that I do offer good ethical advice, however if a financial adviser of 25 years experience isn't welcome to comment on these boards that's quite sad but I wish you all well :(
