All the signs up in my local (Bridgend) - spent ages choosing some clothes, then when I took them to pay the till system hasn't been programmed (apparently it happened yest as well) so they honoured mine but took all the signs down so no more there today

Went to Wigan store last night - no signs up but took a chance and took a couple of tops (£5 then half price) to the till where they did indeed come out as £2.50 for both! The girl on the checkout knew nothing about it! So I went straight back to the sale section and got 4 different sale tops for £6 - bargains!

I saw this thread this morning, so when I was out and about I nipped into our closest store, Teams Valley Gateshead. Great big banners on the outside wall of the store. Picked up a couple of pairs of trousers, at the checkout they went through as normal. I explained about the bogof on womens ware sale goods, poor checkout lady said oh not again. A supervisor came over and I had to take her to the sign outside the shop, and said it didnt start till next week. Then in the tiniest of print in a corner it stated it starts today 12th, she noticed that not me. Anyway I got my trousers at the offer price and left. As I was coming out the car park the supervisor was cutting the sign off the wall.

I don't think its fair that they are taking the signs down and refusing customers the offer after they have advertised the fact its on and starts today.

The signs were up in the Basingstoke store first thing this morning, so I picked up several items - which then went through the till at the usual sale prices.... no BOGOF But customer services kindly refunded the items I should've had free. So I got the deal but by the time I had left the store all the signage had been taken down. It seems to be a problem with the tills so hopefully the offer will start when this has all been sorted out
