Bankruptcy Date 09/11/06

Have my date for bankruptcy on 09/11/06 (my birthday). Think I am doing the right thing. Have found this site a great help with many of my questions answered. Really scared of the day itself.

As for the day itself. it is fairly straightforward. It is more of an exercise in making sure that your paperwork is in order and correct. The important part is the meeting with the Official Receiver (usually 10-14 days later)

Mine was on 26th October and I, too, was a bit apprehensive - but I can assure you that it is over in minutes - it is not in any way judgemental and afterwards you will wonder why you were worried.
