Overdraft Query

Hi guys,
Was wondering if anyone can give me any suitable advice re my overdraft. Basically I have a current account with Natwest, my overdraft is for £1000 and the charges are crippling me. I have read about super balance transfers, but don't know if this is the best plan of action?! I also have a Post Office CC which balance is approx £5000.
Any suitable advice would be much appreciated as I am getting worried!!!!
Thanks in advance.

Hiya Blackers, surprised no-one has replied to you yet - they must all be in the Moneysavers Arms!
I've just opened another account with A&L (the premier direct recommended on the site) who give a 0% overdraft for 12 months. If you can show a full months statements (within the last three months) showing you were in credit for two consecutive days in the month (which you might be around payday) and meet other terms they may match your current overdraft.
They may not meet mine (as my limit is £4200) so I've arranged to balance transfer from a new MBNA Plat Plus card (0% balance transfer straight to old RBS current account, although there was a 2% fee, approx £47) to bring my overdraft balance up to something reasonable in the meantime.
While I'm at it I've started the process (should take around 3 - 6 months) of reclaiming my bank charges (see the main thread for details of this) and it sounds to me like you would be a prime candidate for doing this too. If I can help with getting you started, let me know.
Hope this helps, if not bump your thread and someone more experienced will be sure to come along soon!
Good luck with it - let us know what you decide to do.SweetrevengeOfficial DFW Nerd Club Member 205!:rotfl: Wiv Anorak 'n hood up:rotfl:0
