BOOTS: online item bought with points!!

I was lucky enough to get a nintendo ds lite from boots.com in stock a few weeks ago. However since then i've had a nightmare with my tax credits and have since gone overdrawn!!
I immediately took the DS back to store for a refund on my card.
(i thought it would be quicker than sending it by post)
Whilst it lay in front of me on the counter as the SA was processing my refund I asked if i could re-buy it with my points.
He said 'I dont see why not' :j :j :j
He did have trouble getting it to scan as it wasn't showing on the system. In the end he sold it as an 'entertainment' item...points redeemed 99.99. He signed my receipt and wrote on 'nintendo ds' for the purposes of guarantee.
I am delighted and thought i would share my good fortune;)
