Mortgage,i want to sign to ex wife

Hi,

me and my wife has split up, i changed my address at the bank and they said have i signed the house over to her. I just want to know if i can sign it over to her as i dont want it.

If any 1 know can you let me know.

    You'll need the mortgage company's approval, if there is one.

    And the ex-wife's approval. If there's any negative equity, you can't just dump it on her and walk.

    Speak to a solicitor. Walking away isn't the best way of moving forward with your life. There are formalities that need addressing.

    yes mortgage is with the halifax, i would talk it through with her first just wounded about it thats all. thanks
