i am wanting to do a loft conversion and a single story extension to my and will need to get a loan my bank hsbc are offering 7.5% on loans over £7000 is this good or not

Thats about as good a rate as you can get these days, but that's the typical APR so you may not get that rate, it all depends if you tick their boxes.
Its a good rate though.

you may get a better deal if you have a mortgage co and see if they will give you and additional advance,i got 4.49% fixed for 3 years from my lender last year0 -
To be fair, that is one of the better rates out their at the moment but do bear in mind that these rates will have certain criteria etc... such as premier status customers etc etc...
bear in mind that you can now overpay on your loan repayments aswell.....0
