PC World - Watch the price instore!!!!

Last week I was going to order a 19" monitor online but the pickup was at Stafford 20 miles away so I said to OH 'lets go to Hanley and look at them first'

An SA came to discus what we wanted and showed us a monitor priced at £139.99.

Right above the monitor was a sign saying 'YOU'LL PAY THE SAME PRICE IN STORE AS ONLINE'

When I told him the monitor was £129.99 online he went off to check then said we could have it at that price.

So surely their signs should say

YOU'LL PAY THE SAME PRICE IN STORE AS ONLINE - BUT ONLY IF YOU KNOW THE ONLINE PRICE IS CHEAPER.

I thought this would be obvious.

How do you expect a shop that is sited on absolute top price retail land to offer the same price as the internet?
