I want to send money to Canada

I need to send £2500 to my brother in Canada. I can send him a cheque but I imagine that there is a cheaper way. Any advice would be appreciated

Not sure - but would a bank transfer be better? If you use online banking I think you can do this easily if you have the other person's bank details. Check first though in case I've got it wrong.

Hi, we sent canadian dollars to canada last year in currency insured and recorded by the post office, we found this the easiest and cheapest way to send money, but it was only 1000 dollars, the post office are very helpful though
