Mortgage rescue scheme advise - help please!

To cut a long story sort I lost my job in 2009 whilst pregnant and moved in with my parents (after renting). My father lost his job two weeks after the baby was born and my mothers job only allows for part time. We were all paying towards the mortgage but once I lost my job, my father lost his and a baby in the house we struggled to pay the mortgage and bills and fell behind in the payments. Given our situations we were not able to get much work (not through lack of trying and we do as much as we can but on pitiful wages) and the bank threatened to take the house. We looked at moving out and selling the house but because we were behind in mortgage payments we cannot do this. We went to the CAB who advised the mortgage rescue who came to assess the house in JULY 2010.They accepted us and put an offer in to the bank.

It is constant chasing at the bank as they claim not to get the letters and then ring and ring demanding the full mortgage payment each month knowing full well that we cannot pay it due to requesting the mortgage rescue scheme.

We are at the stage where we have been accepted and an offer (slightly less that the mortgage amount) was put to the bank in November 2010. We are STILL waiting for the bank to get back to us and it is killing us trying to work and work, going without, plus with a baby and the bank demand full mortgage payment plus the interest each month. The bank again are dragging it out claiming not to have got the offer letters and that they don;t care, they want the mortgage each month as we are still under their "rules."

I am aware that as long as you make some form of payment legally they cannot say you've not paid as you've tried.

Does anyone know the minimum amount we can pay towards the mortgage? We are stuck as the mortgage resuce scheme cannot begin until the bank accept the offer but thye are dragging their feet.

Please help!
Saving for my baby fund, not much in it yet so any information you can give will be much appreciated!
