reduced settlement?

has anybody experienced this ??
say if i was to win the lottery (no harm dreaming)
and was to pay all my creditors off i would ask for a settlement figure , has anybody any ideas if u pay the full amount u owe or do some people offer a reduced settlement?
ive been paying £1 for 3 months and many have said that is ok for 6 months so im in a sort of agreement
any ideas??

have a read on this thread, maybe some ideas there...
although I think your payments need to be in arrears for some time before they will even consider giving a reduced amount settlement offer
