Hi,
Just looking for a little advice. I'm about to apply for a mortgage with my partner, who has an excellent credit history.
Recently I have had a few unauthorised overdraft charges on my bank account, which will be on my file, but obviously paid them back with my salary.
My partner is selling a property and I am a first time buyer so we have a deposit. I also have a very good income and my partner has moderate so we have a good monthly income to contribute.
Will my bank charges affect our ability to get a mortgage or just effect the competitiveness of our deal?
If it will effect it, would it be worth waiting, say 6 months until that is off my record?
Thanks,

Obtain your credit report(s) - if you are less than 100% happy at interpreting it then find yourself a broker who will assist and identify appropriate lenders for you.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature.
