Full Terms and Conditions
Please read this carefully. By accessing websites owned, controlled, maintained or operated by Global Radio UK Limited ("Global Radio") (including this website) (together the "Sites") and/or by registering with the Sites you are agreeing to comply with the terms and conditions set out here (which shall include the privacy policy and the Competition terms and conditions (if applicable)) ("Terms"), whether or not you register to use the Site.
Voting Procedure and Hall of Fame Chart 2011 Compilation
1. The closing date for postal entries is midday on Monday 14 February 2011. The closing date for online votes is 23:59 on Friday 11 February 2011. Votes received after this time will not be included.
2. Online votes will be independently verified by an external party.
3. Postal vote submissions must be addressed to Classic FM Hall Of Fame 2011, Classic FM, 30 Leicester Square, London, WC2H 7LA. Postal votes which are addressed incorrectly may not be submitted into the final vote count.
4. Postal votes and online manual votes should by clearly numbered to indicate order of preference and must include as much detail of the piece of music as possible. For example, where a composer has written more than one piece in any genre, e.g. multiple symphonies, the specific details of the piece are required to accurately identify it. We may be unable to count a vote if the vote is incomplete or the piece of music cannot be accurately identified.
5. Postal votes will be kept for a period of 6 months after the issue of the chart for auditing purposes.
6. Votes are weighted in terms of preference. A first choice vote is attributed 3 points, a second choice vote 2 points and a third choice vote 1 point. Votes should be entered in order of preference and the final chart is dependent on the total number of points assigned to each piece. If two or more pieces tie with the same number of points, the number of first, second and third choice votes will be taken to decide the final chart positions.

Thanks for posting
As "The closing date for online votes is 23:59 on Friday 11 February 2011" perhaps you should change the end date to 11/02 (I don't know how postal entries should be dated, but this is on the main board)0 -
Hello! First post (and thanks for all the competitions), but in case anyone has missed it, the Classic FM website is giving away one iPad or three £100 high street vouchers) to people who vote in their Hall Of Fame survey.
All they're asking is for 3 classical compositions, but the search box makes it easy to find them.
Fingers crossed!0 -

Have your say in the definitive poll of classical music tastes. Tell us which composers have inspired you this year and you could win an Apple iPad or three runner-up prizes of shopping vouchers worth £100 each.
Will Vaughan Williams’ Lark Ascending top the poll for a fifth year? Or might it even be Mozart who had no less than a staggering 20 works in last year’s poll? Or will it be Rachmaninov’s Piano Concerto No. 2 which topped the Ultimate Hall of Fame in January?
So if your choice is a Beethoven, Brahms or Busoni then let us know. Let the battle commence!
All you need to do is visit www.classicfmhalloffame.co.uk to vote for your top three pieces of classical music.
Simply type the details of the piece of music or composer you'd like to vote for in the box and select from the list of thousands of pieces. If your favourite isn't listed just follow the instructions to type it in manually.
Listen as we reveal this year’s brand new Top 300, in association with NS&I, across the Easter weekend from 22-25 April 2011.
