How to Find a Broker

Hi
So I am looking to find a broker that can help guide me through buying a house as a FTB.
I have asked around at work and some friends, but for them it has been many years since they brought.
The only people who have brought in the last year recommend London and Country which is not an independent broker.
Is there any websites I can look at for recommendations.
This is probably a stupid question, but would there be any issues with me using a local guy if I plan to move out of the county?
Thanks

I think if you use the internet and especially google, you can gather a lot more information yourself.0
