  • Went to Burton-on-Trent earlier & had a look at the ones on the shelf. The soho type (synthetic material). I asked the assistant to scan the rug & he did so on his handheld device, price came up as £60(+/- change).

Could have done with a nice rug, to tie the room together (like the dude, man).

    :)

Just popped down to Hedge-End store, Southampton - 2 big bins marked clearance rugs - empty. Thought i had missed the boat, but asked cashier to price check the biggest i could find, named 'Indulgence' Floral design, 160 x 235cm price marked at £111 something - scanned £10 - RESULT!
I left 2 on the shelf - barcode is 03100639 if anyone was to phone their store to check availablity.
    Thanks OP :T

  • Went to Bispham ( nr Blackpool) bagged myself a small cream wool rug for £10 ( last one) looks like theyve had a few marked up as £10 but now empty, however there was a lot of rugs with clearance prices on them i.e 50% off, did wonder about taking one to till for a scan to see if it was actually now a tenner but too heavy for me to shift- might be worth a try for someone with muscles!!!

BTW thanks to the OP, well chuffed with my purchase!
  • Forgot to mention there was NO vinyl left at Bispham

nothing in Cheltenham or Gloucester for £10
Hi, I asked in Cheltenham and they knew nothing about it. It's abit unfair that it hasn't been in all the B&Q shops we always seem to miss out over here.
Really could do with a creamy rug in lounge the dog has flattened the shaggy one looks tatty now. :(
