BMS sells up and agreement not honoured

I made an agreement with BMS in June 2009 that if I paid in installments I would only need to pay half my debt and the rest would be cleared. I tried contacting them to day to find the debt has been pasted on to Credit security Ltd. They have not taken any payments since June 2010.
Further more they will not honour the agreement previously made and noone has bothered to contact me in the past year.
Does any1 know if I can do anything about this, at least to get them to honour the previous agreement?

If they haven't taken any payments since June why have you left it until now to contact them? If the agreement to reduce your debt by half rested on your promise to pay instalments it may have been better to have made sure those payments were made.
As above though, do you have the agreement in writing0 -
Yes I do have agreement in writing, I failed to check my bank statements to notice, hense why it has taken so long.0

Then you have probably broken the terms of your deal.
Sadly it is your contractual responsibility to ensure it is paid.Thinking critically since 1996....0
