Possible Toy Story 3 free to view on Sky Movies Box Office

There is possibly a 'glitch' that you can view Toy Story 3 for free instead of £3.99 on Sky Movies Box Office today. Not sure if it's just me though.

My daughter (7) selected it on the box office not knowing and came to me saying it had said 'something about 3.99 but it didn't ask for a PIN. So I quickly rang Sky to ask if they could cancel this before it was due to start. Eventually I got through and the lady said that there wasn't any record of any purchases which she said always come up instantly. As we were talking the film started and still after 15 mins of my daughter selecting the film I still hadn't been charged. The lady said that there was probably some glitch but she had noted the fact that my PIN hadn't been asked for and if I got charged to refund back onto my account.

Maybe worth a try but as I'm not a regular user can't be sure if the PIN is ALWAYS asked for or if it's just on certain films ie 12+.
Amazed at the amount of things I have purchased that 'I never knew I needed' until I joined and viewed the Grabbit page on this forum!!:rotfl:

Same for me too :D Shame my Daughter in having her nap. Oh well I shall have to watch it by myself!
  • I think it's a bit out of order that they're showing it on Box Office anyway.
They're currently showing it on their 3D channel at no extra fee, so they should be airing it on their normal movie channels!

it could still show up on a later bill, we had something similar last year, and nothing came on the bill for ages, then 6 months later they charged us for it, said the box must have finally updated
:TJanuary Wins: Something from CCL :T

    :beer:Thanks to all posters!
  • We watched the 8 minutes free preview on the 3D channel, and the charge for watching the whole thing was £5.99.. Im another that wont pay £5.99 to watch it though! Do hope they bring more 3d movies out!
So much for 'Money Saving' ;)
  • I've not seen anything in 3D yet......
Don't really plan to either as it's just a passing fad that seems to be applied to any film whether it needs it or not.

My 7 year old saw 3D for the first time at the weekend as they are using it during a sequence in the local pantomime.

@hokeystokie - that's a bit out of order of them really, as they aren't mentioning any "fee" in their advertising of it!
