No - I tried yesterday in Beckenham , and phoned cs who just laughed and said SOLD OUT before I could even finish my sentence!!! I am now a bit obsessed with getting 1 as it seems fantastic value- toysrus have it for £79.99 and will price match if it is IN STOCK & LOCAL!!!!!! I did a price comparison and a company called THOMMAN came up . They do the whole package for £63.33 + £10.00 p&p but I think it comes from germany. Anybody had any dealings with them?

I will try and do a link but I've got no idea how to so appologies if it doesn't work!!

    Hope this helps!!

Found Thomann using kelkoo between my post and Batty. It's actualy 10 Euros postage so whole bundle is £73.03. I'm going to phone them to order so I'll let you know how it goes.

EDIT - phoned and spoke to lovely English lady working for them in southern Germany - they don't take debit cards. It's credit cards or bank transfer only. She said delivery to uk is 3 - 5 working days.

I'm suspicious, did anyone get one?
My partner was in Lidl for other stuff (music stands, music stool and percussion set!) minutes after opening time and saw someone stuggling out of the shop with SIX keyboards in his trolley. This always happens, it's grossly unfair, but I can understand Lidl being reluctant to act if it means their staff get intimidated. And these things might be loss leaders - they get people into the shop who then buy other stuff even if they haven't been lucky. In the case of Lidl, other stuff is worth buying because it's so much better value than the well-known supermarkets.

Anyway, the keyboard is only £20 cheaper than elsewhere - disappointing but not an enormous saving.
Time is an illusion - lunch time doubly so.

Have now found this company on the web whose advert says if you find it cheaper we will try and match!!! So have just given them a call and they are looking into it!! Would much rather order from the u.k as if any problems ,etc it would be easier to return! Wow , they rang back after 2 mins and said they "can't even come close - that's a fantastic price". So Thomann are looking good!!

Has anyone tried this one, cheapest I know for musical instruments in the UK

    http://www.rockingrooster.co.uk/showproductdetails.php?PID=546 £53.95

But you also have to add the KPA3 power adaptor :

    http://www.rockingrooster.co.uk/showproductdetails.php?PID=289 £6.95

£10 delivery I believe, so £71 overall, plus two years warranty, next day delivery. Still only £12 more than the Lidl, and UK supplier.

Thats the best deal then for all those hunting them, I personally recommend Yamaha over the Bontempi one going at Aldi for a cheap starter keyboard. I have a Yamaha Digital Piano and its excellent, another good thing about Yamaha is the sample quality used for instruments, really good grand piano sound....plus the technology used in higher end keyboards does get filtered down through the range, so even the cheaper keyboards tend to have good sound technology.
  • After failing to get one at Lidls I bought one for my daughter from here.

Also use Quidco for an additional 4% off

    http://www.gear4music.com/Yamaha_PSR175_Portable_Keyboard2.html

which costs £60.99 + about £5 for postage.
