Not sure if in the right section, sorry, but i would like to know if anyone else have these and how they clean them.
I have a collection of eggs, mainly goose eggs although some are smaller and they have various finishes. Some are left natural although decorated with stones, crystals etc, some have a shimmer finish. I have two eggs which are real marble/stone which open up too.
I would like to know how best to safely give them a good clean. They have been on my mantle piece for a few years now and how i have cleaned them before is by using a soft makeup brush and cleaning in the crevices etc. I have now brought an enclosed glass display cabinet and wanted to give them a thorough clean before putting them in there.
As im sure you know they are rather expensive and i do not want to risk just trying anything on them, so please only if you know something works.
