Matalan bargains

i went to my local matalan store this week, got a load of clothes and gifts already at least 75% off. I bought some gift packs of kids socks, should have been £2 but they were 50% off so i thought id get some for my kids. got to the till and 4 sets were 75% off and 1 went through at full price, they reduced it for me. pictureka game for my son went through at full price, but was on the half price stand so they reduced that, and some choc tubs went through full price, but got them discounted when i argued they were on the half price section. went back the next day to buy some more and had to argue again, but they honoured the half price, then moved the display so they didnt get caught out again. Got about £350 quid worth of stuff for under £100. May go back when i get paid and see what else there is

My nearest Matalan is closed at the moment due to a fire in one of the retail units a few doors away, happened before Christmas and still closed (along with about 6 other units).
Shame as i want a couple of throws from there but they normally go half price instore whereas they dont online.
Not sure when it's reopening.

So no bargains for me this time

i have had some great bargains - ben 10 pants - 4 pack for £1.00 - peppa pig knickers also 4 pack £1.00 - some gorg girls pjs - 2 pack down to £2.00 - enabled me to buy 4 packs and chuck away all the other old pjs she has been wearing for yrs lol! stunning top for £3.50 for my mums birthday in april - and lots of other nice bits and pieces for stocking fillers etc for christmas - was very happy - diddnt over-buy - just what i needed but will save me a fortune come the end of the year!

I asked about an item on the wrong stand and the SA said that items with highlighted bit and code W09 and S10 had 75% off and if W10 was 50%. Code is on back of label!
On a side, I bought girls baby slippers (marked as £3 and not reduced) but went through at 75p. Stocked up in all the sizes so LO has slippers now upto yr!!

I got some bargains today !, an £18 cardigan for £4.00, some long fingerless gloves ( the ones that go right up your arm) for £1, loads of winter hats from £1, underwear from 75p, and a pair of shorts for £1.50....my local shop was very quiet so I spent a while searching through the racks !!

went last night & bought a couple of tops, both labled W10, but sales assistant made a mistake & said W10's were marked down to £2 (there were loads of signs up saying S10's £2 & W10's half price bless)
So what should have cost me £17, cost me £4 - bargain!

In my local matalan most of the christmas gift were reduced by 75% and then it was BOGOF too.

Just been into Matalan in Swindon today, got a real bargain 1p for balloon weights :T
My daughters 18th in may so will come in handy
Also 75% off xmas stuff and BOGOF but very little left and 70% off jewellery
