when you are typing your message in the bars above where options are given for text type, bold, italic etc there is a picture of a globe(earth) with what looks like a link of a chain on it. simply copy the page address you are wanting to link, then highlight the text(any text in your message) that you wish to use as your clickable link, click on the chain globey thing and paste the url address you copied earlier into the box. bingo you now have a shortened link.
