Can you help me mend my lucky necklace?

I know this isn't really a special occasion thread, but I thought you crafty people might be able to help.
My necklace is broken, and it's my lucky necklace so I'm a bit upset. I have the pendant and the chain, but the little circle bit that links the two has broken. And I have no idea what it's called and if I can get a new one.
I tried asking my daddy and all he said was, "yeah, it's broken"
I've got a ;picture here from when it wasn't broken. You can see the pendant, the chain, and the...loopy thing

Its a split ring and are just pennies to replace but you will need 2 sets of pliers
Twist the new ring from left to right
Pop on the pendant and the chain
Close back again
The biggest problem you will have is finding the right colour ~ is it sort of bronze colour?
Hope this helps xxNo. 16 in HCCSC:jFull Time Uni Student & Glitcher :j

do you know anyone who makes jewellery save you buying the pliers if you had the right split pin it would take seconds to mend:xmastree:Is loving life right now,yes I am a soppy fool who believes in the simple things in life :xmastree:0

Its a jump ring hun, they are pennies and yes you will need 2 sets of pliers, do you have a local bead/craft shop?? they will help you get a colour match, but you can get bronze coloured quite easily on ebay, but if you find a bead store they will fix it for you ;-)Thrifty Gifty Money Making =£280 Sealed pot challenge 1192 Toluna = 77339 Bingoport = £10 redeemed + 33470

Thank you!
Yep, it's a bronze colour. It turns me awfully green sometimes.
Do I need special pliers, or can I just [STRIKE]steal[/STRIKE] borrow some from my dad's toolbox?Murphy's No More Pies Club #209

Hi Juno
I use rounded pliers and flat grippy pliers but they are just the same as your dads tool box (if hes anything like mine) just be careful scratching the metal when turning the ring to open it
