I'm wondering if Boots are trying to avoid problems in the stores after previous years. Telling the staff to keep everything hush even by telling lies and keeping the website at 50% could all be tactics and the sale might still be on???

Aaargh don't tell me that! I can't decide whether or not to try instore as I'm going to be so disappointed if I have to get me and my 16 month old washed and dressed within the next 40 minutes and run all the way to the city to get there by 8am, and it turns out it's not on instore either! :p

Ah well, I guess I could see it as extra excercise :D
If I could cheat, I'd skip to the end and decide if it's worth going through with
    :D
  • I am all hyped up from rushing home from a night shift to do it online before getting the kids up and to school then driving all the way back into town (12 miles) to raid the place.

Shall I just drop the kids off and go to bed? Blummin Boots.
  • we will have to see how many other people we meet at the doors of boots just before they open and if they were following this thead

Last night I received a text from a friend who had just finished work @ Boots restocking shelves. She said sale 75% sale wouldn't start today and they don't know when it will. Usually it starts on 14th (3 weeks after the start of 50% sale) but last year it started later. I know Boots like to keep sale hush hush but surely staff would have had some idea @ 8pm last night. I can't make shops today so am hoping it isn't in store today. If it is good luck to all you MSEr's hope you get all the lovely bargains. I will check back later in the day to see if youv'e grab anything good.

I know but I'm thinking if we are fooled and it IS on we would be gutted not to be there. PS forget the washing bit to save time!
