Was just going to say, I was in Clayton Sq again today and didn't see any sale stuff at all, I must say I didn't exactly scout round for it but on passing through it wasn't where it all was last week! Wonder if they've sold it all, or just got rid!
sorry couldn't be of more help, Pollsdolls. x

Hi cagsd, I was wondering the same thing. I was in Aintree tonight and they had a long row of empty shelves, which I found strange. It looked as though someone had swooped the lot away. Usually they whittle the sale stuff down to smaller shelf areas. There was none in Prescot neither

Both Aintree and prescot had clearance where SA's directed me to but it was just the usual clearance and not the residue of the sale. Maybe there is a 'sale resting place' somewhere where they shift it all to.

Thanks for looking and posting anyway I appreciate it. :T
I will try CS again tomorrow, to see if they can locate any more for me, as I really need them.

Yesterday I picked up some cufflinks from the sale shelf in Leeds Albion. Today when walking through the same boots the sale stuff was nowhere to be seen. RIP the last 2011 boots sale items!

Apparently the sale finished Sunday and any rememaining stock removed. Some has been put back to full price other stuff has gone to the skips. At least that explains the suddenly empty shelves.

Oh no, thats such a waste! I thought they gave leftovers to charity?
I was really going to go back and buy some more wrapping paper as there was so much left in town and it was actually nice stuff, what a shame to think of it all being thrown away! :(

    ok i'm being thick
doesn't the delivery note count as the reciept? shouldn't she have been refunded the price on the note? i thought they only refund the current instore price if there is no reciept?
also are these back in stock at full price now, why would discontinued stock now be back on at full price, i appreciate the sale is over but most xmas/slae items are one off xmas type gifts not regular stock that just goes back on the shelves at full price

She (!) isn't sure how it happened!
The delivery note clearly shows the RRP and sale price, but it must have come up as full price when scanned.

Thats why I thought I would let people on here know, as I reckon most would prefer the cash, to storing the boxes for a year!

She only noticed as she glanced down at her credit card receipt on leaving the store, and had real trouble trying to decide whether to go back and fess up. The manager had been stood there with the cashier though and I saw a very interesting article on Boots using loop holes in order to avoid paying taxes in the UK!

not totally happy with Boots... made 2 orders on the same day when the sale was on for instore collection, 1 order arrive (the second one) , the first one has apparently got lost in transit, so they've had to refund me, they credited me with 500 boots points too.
annoyed tho as the stuff thats gone missing were birthday presents for my nieces and mothers day presents.
  • Apologies if someone has already posted this.

I visited Boots today and they had the No 7 free gift down to £4 from £6.50. Thought you may be interested as quite a good buy if travelling.
  • Anyone got a date for the 2012 75% off?
  • Too early yet its around the 13th jan i think last year was a mix up with the weather
