Isn't this exciting!!!! I wrote a poem a few years ago about the Boots Sale - can't remember it, so I've added some, and remembered some, so to speak!

The Boots 75% Sale

From the North and the South and the East and the West
All of us Bootsers are doing our best

Whether from Worcester or Woking or Wales
We all get excited at lovely Boots Sales

Is it tomorrow? Or Friday? Please speak!
Some people say that it's Thursday, next week

Will there be stock, or will shelves be bereft
Will some people grab, will there be something left

Bootsers on foot and on buses and cars
Coming from Manchester, Morecambe - and Mars!

All of us hoping for reduced No 7
To keep in our cupboards, for Christmas '11!

We don't ask for much, but isn't it nice
To buy a great gift at a quarter the price

Why do we do it? No doubt we are mad
Is this our excitement? Now isn't that sad!!!

But saddos, or weirdos, we don't care a jot
Just say if the sale is tomorrow - or not

If the answer is yes, then we know, without fail
We'll be hitting on Boots for their wonderful sale!

right i am going to get to bed, up at six for work and will be at boots for half 8, by the grace of god the sale will start the morn, hope you all get the bargins you are hoping for ladies/gents xx night all and good luck x

My basket has now been emptied 3 times in half an hour- someone at HO is sat deleting baskets!!! *warms fingers and stretches ready for 'fastest fingers first' at whenever o'clock!*

I think I'll check the website at midnight, set my alarm for just before 3am and then just before 5am. If the sale is on brilliant! If not I'd have probably been getting up anyway with the LO

Last year on 75% sale day Boots were giving out £5 off vouchers as they are now. I had a number of basket loads and cheekily asked the SA to put my goods through in small totals to maximise my vouchers! He spoke to his manager and then put the goods through in one go and just gave me the right number of vouchers! Might be worth a go if you can be bothered.
