Has anyone not seen any Fearne left over in their store?

Yes! 5 out of 6 boots stores i've been to today had sold out of Fearne hatboxes! The one that did have some had a whole aisle worth though:rotfl:

I got a few and they seem worth the £10, I would definitely be disappointed if I had paid £40 though
    :j
  • Considering how hard its been to purchase anything online today, not a lot left in stock now. If stores have done as well Mr Boots will be very happy he delayed the sale by a week and created even more hype.

  • Just had my order confirmed :D.

I found that if you clicked on either "View Basket" or the amount of items you could access it that way.

I was opening those pages in new tabs to avoid the main page coming up "temporarily being updated."

Thank you sooooooooooooo much for the person who suggested this. I couldn't go to the shops, cos DD had to go to hospital and DGD was off school with a cold. :(

So we spent a jolly morning with Grandma learning how to avoid swearing when we tried to get online. ;) Eventually, I followed the "separate tabs" advice given, and though the toys for the DGC had long since disappeared, I finally managed to get the following:

A "Christmas Card to my Darling Wife" for 75p (least this way I'll get one!!!!)

2 x Yardley Lavender sets @ £2.25 each for the lovely spinster 90- year olds next door, for Easter

1 x Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb, for DD, when she goes into hospital, with 10% off, cos my order was over £60!

And that was it. I had 27 attempts at checking out, and DGD and I agreed I'd stop at 30! And then we got through! :j :j :j

Couldn't even treat myself to the Gu choccies cos they were oos, but I tell you what - this was a novel way to spend 6 hours!!! Sorry to all the people who are still trying to get to checkout, but do try the tab method.

BTW, if you can't even get on the Boots site from your favourites, try Googling "Boots the chemist" and then use the tab method, whilst you gently press "Store Locator". HTH

That's the reason. Overpriced, and unoriginal.

It could have had anyone's name on it. Boots probably made the box then asked a load of celebrities if they would put their name to it.

I think that Lauren Luke (Make-up artist person from youtube) should do a range next christmas. I would buy it over Fearne, GOK or Strictly

The bull ring had quite a few items, main birmingham city centre was almost oos, but the small boots on new street was the best, me and my mom spent 150, but shes gone back in for more stuff. we got home and some of the things were good for pressies, so we want more!!

 I always forget about that store

Oh well - next year :rotfl:

Been to work, rushed straight onto pc to find website kinda working but everything I wanted OOS  added a few 'second best' bits, took an age, and I'm still trying to pay, gonna close website down now and not even bother. **** you Boots, and if anyone from there is reading this you ought to be thoroughly ashamed of yourselves, a big company like you and you cannot provide a half decent website.

feel better now I've said it! :D

    Off to look at Debenhams.....

I got my confirmation email through, bout 45 mins after the order acknowledgement.

What are the people with huge bag fulls of stuff from the shops doing? Car boot?

I had two large carriers full but its not to car boot or ebay! I have stocked up on presents for birthdays throughout the year. I have two teenage daughters, so some stuff I will hide for their birthdays & some I keep in my present cupboard for their many girlfriends. I got a few bits for DH that he will probably get on Valentine's Day and a few random gift sets for Mum/Sister/friends if I need a little pressie at any point.

I did this last year and got enough for most birthdays (though for family these gifts are extra presents to their main gift). I used the few I had left for Christmas presents & a donation to the school tombola. I have just one set left from last year and it saved me a fortune.

Last year I also got some Boots Naturals, Sanctuary & Boots Original Beauty Formula sets foir myself that I just broke down & used as I liked the products.

Just trying to explain that not everyone with a huge haul is trying to profit from it; those bags fill up rapidly and you can easily make good use of it all yourself.

I doubt if Fearne will sell on eBay. I love the Hatbox but have been put off by people not buying it!

I might be tempted by 90% off the Fearne set though, I think I'd pay £4 although I don't know what I would do with it....

Yeah I avoided that stuff, the other half and I in a combination of shop visits and the internet have got a good haul of sanctuary and S&G stuff which we expect to have no problems in shifting.
