Boots 75% off sale - possible date

Just back from Newport main street shelves emptying real fast. Managed to get some lovely toys. Virtually no no7 or strictly stuff left it was bonkers. Got what i wanted and made a sharp exit. Not sure how much they had to get rid of maybe they will put more out as it quietens off lol.

Well after my zero sleep, and massive heart attack when I couldnt get online, I'm as happy as a pig in muck! Went to skippers lane Middlesbrough and got all my Christmas gifts for next year, then went to Middlesbrough and got another load, so it's safe to say I think I've finished Christmas 2011 for everybody except my little girl! Really must get some sleep, please little girl, please go to bed lol x

At some point they need to put it back! Are they just gonna close their website forever? I think not! They knew this was gonna happen. Last year when it went down for so long there was roumors that they were cancelling the sale and sending all the stock out to the stores. They didnt however.

Just spoke to customer services, they say the problem has been reported and is being dealt with but allow another hour. No change from other years then I guess, just waiting for them to pull online sale again.

Ive just got back from the waltham cross branch. I got there early as i was unwell last night so was up half the night anyway. As my luck would have it there was no pharmacist so i had to wait over an hour for the store to open. I wouldve gone home to be honest but I needed some other bits that only boots sell in our area (medicated items) so had to wait anyway.

By the time our set of doors were opened a little group had built up but the very lovely lady who was near the doors let me in first which i thought was really kind of her so if you are a fellow MSEr thank you very much again. Im still laughing at the other woman who managed to get in via the other doors first and was manically grabbing everything before we could get in there- she was fast! :rotfl:

Managed to get some little bits for my nieces- glitterbabes etc and a make your own ballerina bag that she wanted at £3 from £12 so really happy. They had quite a few of the £25 FCUK boxes that looked nice (and werent there yesterday) but i was determined not to buy what i didnt need!

It was very busy though so i dont expect there will be anything left in a few hours (there wasnt much to start with)
Oh and the toys were still 50% although i bought some ELC crayons that did scan at £1.53.

well you would think so if people cant get on to buy but boots arent really the greatest are they i mean it wouldn't surprise me if i ordered eventually and then it was cancelled as out of stock, just hope i can get on soon
