    Hi all
I'm in again this week - thanks to the usual suspects for the lists/support/motivation.

I'm off-list again this week, still got loads and loads of flinging to do - did 3 x trips to the dump today, put some boxes up in the loft (naughty!) and kept on top of the toy and general junk situation in the living room.

Tomorrow I plan to clear the hallway completely and give it a good mop over and dust/polish (not been done for aaaaaaages :o), finish off the odd bits and pieces in the living room and make a start on the bathroom (which needs seriously de-moulding). Oh yes, and one more trip to the dump and a boot-load of stuff for the charity shop.

Think that'll keep my occupied for quite a while!

    Take care
    D

Cor - is it that time of the week again????

Haven't finished the last thread yet....
You're supposed to be cleaning, not reading the thread :p

I'm in... not sure how much I'll do, but hopefully I will at least keep the place looking civilised.

I've had my supper (stuffed pepper and half an avocado that needed eating), carved the pheasants I cooked last night and put them in a casserole with the juice/bacon/apple and chucked the carcasses in the SC with a carrot, and onion and a manky-looking tomato to turn into stock overnight. Most of mealplan for next week done, but it depends a bit on how much of what gets eaten by visitors tomorrow.

DW on. Two loads of laundry sorted for tomorrow. Need to wrap a present, write six thank you letters and pack up some soapnuts and books to send to hex (see, I hadn't forgotten!) :p and then if it isn't too late I can lie in the bath for a bit before bed. Tomorrow I have a GP appointment (must write list and print out some stuff before I go), a gym session booked, my dad arriving at 4ish to stay and DB, SIL and nephew arriving at 7ish for supper...

Many thanks to the ladies who run the thread, I'm in see you on Friday/Monday ;););)

(ie on Wednesday which is my last work day, usually Pen's last work day but AnW's Sunday night!)

Lil_me - if I'd been told that I would have asked something like 'do you see her often, do you ever SKYPE her'...I'm quite shocked, actually.
If I did have doubts I might have engineered a conversation along the lines of 'Jimmy tells me his grandma is serving in Iraq...'
but I wouldn't DREAM of 'demanding' evidence.

Thanks to everyone at FCC for their support and all the other wonderful people on here.

Didn't get very much of my list done last week so will try and finish that first. Off to my mums on Thursday night as we are going to see Strictly Live next weekend. I think I will aim for a tidy house at the end of the week, that way I am not setting myself up for a fall and anything else is a bonus.

GOOD NEWS. We had a great time at the wedding fair today. We have provisionally booked a date and it is on a weekend and everything! We have 2 weeks to make it official which we will be doing because we love the place. Have loads of ideas from the stands there and they are all at another fair near us in 2 weeks. We are going to spend the time deciding exactly what we want and then can discuss in more detail then and hopefully make some provisional bookings with them if not more concrete ones. we have emailed/rung most people and my oldest friend who I thought would not be able to make it is booking flights tonight :j

    Anyway, enough on the wedding

    My list

    Ironing
    Put suitcases away
    Clear any LR hotspots
    Clear any BR hotspots
    Clear any spare room hotspots
    Put all Christmas presents away
    HH paperwork shredding
    Write letter to Austria hotel
Work out possible budget for wedding WIP
Get a better idea of plans for wedding WIP

evening all .i am in and thanks to you all x
  • In again, but will probably be spending more time than usual on bass, as will be rehearsing rather than practicing  Especially as today was spent recovering from getting home at 4am after going into London

Oh, and can I claim credit for decluttering the old tumble dryer to the front garden (to be loaded into the car for the tip in the morning), only to watch from the front room window with my cuppa 5 minutes later as a man with a white van pulls up outside and helps himself to it? It is a cheek, but it saved me from getting rid of it! (I expect it was for scrap metal value)
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.
