I am @ladycomper on twitter and although I have over 50 followers I have no idea what I am doing! See loads of tweets re comps from my followers but find it hard to get to the original message to tweet it. I assume it is no good just retweeting a retweet if you see what I mean? Do we have any simple guidelines for us novices?

I'm following you guys too. Still trying to get to grips with twitter but looks like its quick and no matter if you retweet something more than once accidentally.

I am not having much luck with regular comps so I thought to give some time to this too.

So can I just check, to enter a comp you need to first follow a company or prize giver, then retweet the comp so it shows on your homepage.

If you win, they send you a message.

Pretty much but sometimes they don't send a message, they may mention it in their feed.

If you hit @mentions next to timeline on your homepage it will show any mentions of your name. HTH

My DS is happy with his new Halo Avatar for xbox live though!!
