Buying tailor made suits online

I've just discovered that there are several places you can buy tailor made suits online or even have tailors come visit you at home and measure you up? Anyone ever tried this and is it trustable, and hows the quality like?

Haven't used any of them personally ... but there was a thread on here and people did state that the quality was very good. Try searching for it.

O/H gets his sent over from the far east, we left the measurements there. To be honest, some have been absolute bargains taking into consideration the total cost (material, labour and P&P), and others are not all that ... when you have a real close look :o But if they do fall apart, it's no big deal as they were worth the total cost .... not exactly sure how much they work out each as we had other things sent over at the same time - sent over £75 which included 4 suits and lots of other stuff.
I can say whatever I like here ... 'cos no one can see me .. ner ner ner ner ner !!!....

How do you know I ain't sitting here butt naked?!?!

I thunk I've made you think for a minute!

  • wow! £75 for 4 suits!!??! thats crazy bargain. I'm not really looking for something that falls off that easily. More like something a little more expensive but will last me for quite a while, you think these "home call" tailors will be able to do it?

Was cheaper for suits, got some other stuff out of the £75 too, like a pearl set (made to order) and some other stuff;)

Have replied to your PM too.

Haven't used "home call" ..... did you search this site for tailor made suits?
