    I dont expect anyone to do what I do but Ive been doing it about 20 years and havent had food poisoning yet!

    And dont get me started on people who rinse meat under the tap before cooking!!!

    It's just the risk of bacteria increases, if you defrost and refreeze in a controlled enviroment it'll be fine. Most people don't though.
