Managed to finally get this working, my browser was randomly getting rid of the code automatically available via the link! Changed to new browser and order went through fine! *shrug*

I wouldn't worry about it! I think the rules don't allow discount codes here, which is why I removed mine, but to be honest I find the rules a bit confusing so I may well be wrong!
