Credit Card and Increasing Mortgage

Just a quick question.

I have a credit card that I use each month (around £600-£800) and pay it off in full each month.
I have had the card for about 8 month now.

We are looking to sell our home and increase our mortgage amount to enable us to move to the area we prefer.

Would this credit card affect the amount of mortgage increase we would need?

Is it worth me cancelling the card and just continue to use my debit card instead?

Thanks
Only debt I have is my Mortgage :D

  • Your credit report shows the balance rolled over each month plus you can produce statements to show cleared in full each month so you can declare as nothing owing on your credit card, and wont affect anything.
