Back next week with £20MFW on your mark0 -
I'm really pleased with my week. Out of my £30 budget, I actually spent a total of only £6.82 but I was paid £10 for some unexpected babysitting so actually made £3.18 over the week so I'm declaring a yellow week. :j:jMaking magic with fabricLight travels faster than sound. At £33.65 but, like SW it's "Asda Saturday" so will need to be careful! (Hopefully my diet coke bill will be a bit less this week)! /QUOTE]
mmmm I'm useless at this!
£37.47 @ Asda so £71.12/£60 - did have a list but when I got there stuff that I would've needed next week was on offer so bought it now. Not sure if that's good or not.
Anyway, will try again next week (if you'll have me back) - going for £45.
May need petrol (think I'll be on fumes before the end of the week) and have budget of £35 for this - keeping separate as hoping I won't need this!
Well done to all those who managed their budget!Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Welcome to the thread LittleFatFairy! I'm sure Pointy will be along soon to welcome you officially, and will add your £10 pledge to next week's thread once she has posted the link.mmmm I'm useless at this! ... £71.12/£60 ... Anyway, will try again next week (if you'll have me back)
Keep your head up lilylass! Just think how far you've come since you've joined the forum. Looking at you're sig - you've also taken on alot of challenges at once (1. This WSC, 2. NSD challenge, 3. Diet coke challenge, 4. £365 in 365 days, 5. Frugal living challenge, 6. £2 savers ... wow!), and you're doing really well! Don't be too hard on yourself, and I'm sure we'll all welcome you back with open arms!
BTW: I find that the NSD challenge and this WSC (Weekly Spend Challenge) compliment each other really well. If you're coming up green on both challenges at the same time, you're doing really well. Because, not only are you clocking up lots of NSDs; on the days when you do spend, this WSC keeps you within budget, so you're not spending huge amounts on your spend days.stitching_witch wrote: »I'm declaring a yellow week. :j:j

awww, thanks Chris, it's taken me years to get rid of my debt (nearly there for the 2nd time!). I've pretty much gone it alone until the last few months when I started lurking on here.
Car service, tax & breakdown cover all due before the end of the month - total of £190 (which I know isn't bad for all 3) - all having to come out of January's salary as I raided the tins last year every time I got to £100ish.
I'm hopeless at budgeting. Hoping these challenges are going to get it to finally sink in - so far it's def working as I now think before I buy things rather than just get them and then have to raid a tin at the end of the month to pay for everything!Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
