I've managed to scrape £18.53 by finding loose change around the house and empting all my old savings accounts that only have pennies in them and not earning any interest and putting them into a higher interest account so that's me currently at £618.53/£2299
oooh and I should hopefully get £135 from fonebank in the next week and £3 from quidco! Roll on the pennies!Cabot (0%) left to pay £2455 let the overpayments commence!0 -
Hi all, rounded down my current account to make my first payment of £9.17 ~ £2641.83 remaining
Good news also that with a bit of luck I have sold my car which should give me £350 to put to the debt - the buyer has left a deposit and is coming back tomorrow, fingers crossed! That would be a fab boost for the challenge.

Evening everyone,
I've just paid £5 off my Next account, taking me up to £52/300!
Think I will struggle to pay any more for the next couple of weeks until payday, as I now have to pay £120 for the last installment of a school trip my daughter is going on, as well as my choir subscription £70 and my son's basketball and cubs (another £55 between them!)
The good news is that it is the first time in months that I have paid anything other than the minimum payment on my Next account, and this month, including what I had already paid before this challenge begun, I have paid off double the minimum! :jSave £12k in 2021: Jan £1834.40, Feb £1692.810 -

Same here! I suppose I also have the added motivation of DH having recently found that he is to be made redundant (we don't know when yet). It is great though having somewhere to record your progress among people that are in the same position and don't judgeSave £12k in 2021: Jan £1834.40, Feb £1692.810
