Have met my second target but am still going! Just a small payment of £10 today, making £517.83/£500 paid. :j
Last week I had the brainwave of paying off my Next account with my visa card, so reducing the interest I'm paying. I have no idea why I didn't to this before- it's a bit obvious really!! Anyway, that now gives me a balance of around £450 on my visa card, so already have my target for next time sorted!
I get the feeling it will be a VERY long time before I don't have something to aim to pay off in this thread :o
Oh well, at least it is helping to motivate me!:D

    Hi Amara,

Just wanted to mention that my total on the first page is not correct - made the last payment for the challenge of £264 on Tuesday.

I am itching to keep up the momentum, so would like to add another amount to clear to the end of the challenge. I will be signing a new contract with my temp job for a year so hope to wipe out my Debenhams credit card. in this challenge. Can you put me down for £1600. The interest on this card is due to go up to 29.9% on 16 May and I am desperate to get shot of it before then. I figure that if I put this goal in writing then I will have to commit to it.

I have 2 more pay days before going onto monthly pay UGGGGGGH.
