  • We've had such a lovely surprise today.

    DHs boss paid him a £1000 bonus after tax. Totally out of the blue. 1st one ever and he has been working for the same guy since 1999. So nice for him to feel appreciated.

    We have agreed half to go towards saving up to buy his next car, and half to the mortgage, so i am really pleased on day 33 to have paid off £506.68 (£6.68 was from amazon sales) of my £2000 target.

    Now i am at £1602.06/2000. This leaves £6.03 per day to find for the rest of the challenge, and it all looks a lot more doable.

    I am going to bake a cake for DH to take into the office. Pay rises and bonuses. His boss deserves it.

    I know i said that i would no longer be paying off cabot as part off this challenge but the have removed the interest they added and i have paid it off today. So that is another debt down.

    sorry I have not updated for ages, I had my DS 3 weeks ago so I have been quite preocupied..............anyway we have paid off a little chunk so far

    £159.50 paid off so far so that leaves £250 left to clear it :beer:
