Ooh- just plucked up the courage to go onto a snowball calculator for the first time ever- to be honest I was really scared what it would show
Anyway, with everyone in bed I decided to go for it- and to my surprise, it gave me a debt free date in May 2017. Now I know that is a good few years of scrimping and saving, but I was expecting worse! So glad I did it- it's made me even more determined when I saw that just by increasing my debt payments by £10 a month made a couple of months difference.
I know that we are going to have a hard few years with my husband's redundancy looming and the increasing price of everything, but it suddenly seems achievable.
Going to go and make an extra payment of £5 right now- it might make my DFD a couple of weeks sooner!!

£200 paid today.
£28 remaining.
I realised I was being a bit daft with money sat doing nothing in my savings account and have a debt accruing interest - so thought I'd better swap things round. Hopefully I have some OT coming in this month which can start topping the savings up again. This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
Fingers crossed x0 -

Hi £10 for me today that leaves £1190 desperate to get it under £1000. I am enjoying this keep trying to think of ways to pay it off. Couple of e-bay items sold I've transferred money from paypal so when it goes into my account I will be able to make another payment.
good luck to everyone else.0 -
