The xml file may have more details
backup data and restore to factory settings. If it coincides with the twanging, run chkdsk on the hard disk!!

No main error on the top of the blue screen?
IRQ error or USB error or similar?
Do you connect to the internet to diagnose the fault when you restart?
What causes the error? Can you cause it to crash? Hotter than usual?
Trying to think what caused mine to bluescreen on windows 7.. UTorrent i think?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
im assuming here the old blue screen of death?
sometimes your best just to re-install your operating system though its possible your missing some critical files
perform the following:
go to run and type cmd
then sfc/scannow and hit enter and make sure ure os disk is present in your drive,

Go to Google and type Hirens boot cd, this saved my 3 year old vaio when it got the BSOD, would recommend to anyone, have now used it on 2 more older computers i had in house that i thought i would never use again because of blue screen, but an hour later and i am 2 computers up and a happy man even tho i will never use those computers, will be good for little brother to play on0
